Tom and Iris, the founders of Sunni Studio, are two creatives with a deep fascination for photography. Their story began on their first date, when they both brought along their analog cameras without knowing the other would. This shared passion for photography connected them and eventually led to the creation of Sunni Studio.

Though Sunni Studio was officially established in 2024, its roots stretch further back. Tom and Iris each have their unique journeys and relationships with photography. For Tom, it all started when he inherited his father's old camera—a well-traveled companion that had seen the world. This gift marked the beginning of Tom's analog photography adventure. Iris, on the other hand, developed a love for photography at a young age. What began as a simple way to capture memories blossomed into a lifelong passion. Being nostalgic, Iris loved documenting every moment. As a student on a tight budget, she found analog cameras in thrift stores, starting her own journey. Over time, she amassed a collection of more than ten point-and-shoot cameras, creating a vast library of memories.

By blending their distinct styles, Tom and Iris have crafted a rich and personal collection of photographs at Sunni Studio. Tom's expertise lies in architecture, street photography, and black-and-white imagery, while Iris excels in capturing people, nostalgic moments, and warm tones. Together, they offer the best of both worlds. Each photo tells a unique story, making them truly one-of-a-kind.

Sunni Studio is named after the sun, symbolizing warmth, brightness, and positivity. "Sunni" comes from "sunny," reflecting our focus on capturing the natural beauty of sunlight in our photography.
